College Liaisons

The University of La Verne Wilson Library’s Liaison program has been established as a channel of communication between the librarians and teaching faculty. The purpose of the program is to:

  • Serve as an information consultant for the academic department
  • Answer questions, resolve problems, and provide information about library resources
  • Provide workshops on research tools or on topics that are of special interest to faculty
  • Help faculty develop high-quality collections in their subject areas
  • Teach course sessions (link to Instruction) that focus on research skills and information literacy
  • Provide research assistance with faculty research
  • Work with faculty to make information literacy an essential component for students’ learning
