About the Learning Commons

The University of La Verne’s Learning Commons located in the Wilson Library offers a variety of research resources, both print and digital, individual or group gathering spaces to research, write, study, or collaborate.

The Learning Commons comprises of services from Academic Success Center, Wilson Library, Archives and Special Collections and the Makerspace to help students navigate college, life and work through workshops, events, research consultations, tutoring, and academic coaching. The Center for Teaching and Learning is also located in the Learning Commons to support faculty with their pedagogical, research and technology needs.

Learning Commons Staff is available via chat, email, text, appointment, drop-in or phone. Online research assistance (with a librarian via chat) and professional tutoring is available 24/7.

The Learning Commons is a great place to do homework, collaborate on projects, and prepare for exams as well!
