Research Help

Request an Appointment or Help from a Librarian

Research Appointments are an opportunity for students to discuss their research with a librarian.

What does a research appointment include?

The librarian will help you work out a search strategy, a step-by-step procedure for finding information. Then he or she will suggest sources that will give you an overview of your topic and help you think of ways to evaluate the information you find.

How long will an appointment take?

Depending on the complexity of your topic, most consultations last from 30 minutes to one hour.

To request research help contact a librarian directly by email. You will receive a response within 72 hours.
