    What is the essential information I need to know?

    • Wilson Library follows all LINK+ consortia established rules and regulations.
    • LINK+ requests will be available 2-4 days (not guaranteed) from the date of request. Please check your circulation record on LEOpac for the status of your request.
    • Items will be held at the Circulation Desk for pickup for 10 days.
    • The loan period is 21 days with one renewal for 14 days and no grace period.
    • Overdue fines for Link+ items is $1.00 per day per item from the day the item is overdue (no grace periods).
    • The number of LINK+ requests, holds or checked out items allowed is unlimited.
    • Once an item is 3 days overdue, a notice is issued. Once an item is 15 days overdue, a bill is issued for $115.00.
    • If a LINK+ item is lost, replacement cost is $115.00.
    • Patrons who return items in damaged condition are also assessed $115.00.

    How do I request items through LINK+?

    • Go to LINK+ catalog at http://csul.iii.com
    • Search for an item
    • Click on Request This Item button. (NOTE: Patron cannot request item from a specific library. The request is assigned to a specific library by the system.)
    • When prompted "With which institution are you affiliated?" Click on the down arrow and scroll down to Univ of La Verne and highlight.
    • Click on Submit above information button.
    • Enter requested information.
    • System will display the name of the lending institution.
    • Click on the Regular Display button.
    • Repeat for the next request. (Each request must be entered individually.)

    How do I check the status of my request?

    • Go to LEOpac at http://leopac.ulv.edu
    • Click on View Your Record/Renew books under Other Services
    • Enter your Name
    • Enter your University ID (no spaces or dashes)
    • Click on Display record for person named above button.
    • Click on the Requests(holds) outstanding button.
    • The screen will list all LINK+ items and any holds placed on Wilson Library materials.
    • The following status may appear next to your LINK+ request.
    • LINK+Requested - Your item has been requested
    • LINK+In Transit - Your item is in transit
    • LINK+Received - Your item is waiting for you at the Wilson Library Circulation Desk.
    • You will be notified by email (ULV email account only) that your LINK+ items have arrived at Wilson Library. If you have any questions, please contact the Wilson Library Circulation Desk at (909) 593-3511 x4301

    How do I cancel a request?

    • Go to LEOpac at http://leopac.ulv.edu
    • Click on View Your Record/Renew books under Other Services.
    • Enter your Name
    • Enter your University ID# (no spaces or dashes)
    • Click on Display record for person named above button.
    • Click on the Requests(holds) outstanding button.
    • The screen will list all LINK+ items and any holds placed on Wilson Library materials.
    • The following status may appear next to your LINK+ request:
    • LINK+ Requested-Your item has been requested
    • LINK+ In Transit-Your item is in transit
    • LINK+ Received-Your item is waiting for you at the Wilson Library Circulation Desk.
    • Note: Only items with a status of "LINK+Requested" may be cancelled.
    • Select a specific item to be cancelled by clicking on the check box next to the item.
    • Click on Cancel selected items button.
    • OR if you want to cancel all requests, including Wilson Library holds, click on Cancel ALL button.

    How do I renew LINK+ books?

    • Go to LEOpac at http://leopac.ulv.edu
    • Click on View Your Record/Renew books under Other Services.
    • Enter your Name
    • Enter your University ID# (no spaces or dashes)
    • Click on Display record for person named above button.
    • Click on the Items currently checked out button.
    • The screen will list all items currently checked out to you.
    • Check the boxes (in the RENEW column) of the items you would like renewed. If you would like to renew ALL items, click on RENEW ALL. PLEASE NOTE: LINK+ books are NOT renewed immediately. The status of your item will change to RENEWAL PENDING. Please check your patron record in a hour or two to see if your item has been renewed. If you see a RENEWAL DENIED status, please return the item. If the RENEWAL PENDING status does not change in 24 hours, please contact the library (x4301). tems can be renewed only ONCE. Items can be renewed from 2 days before of the due date.
